"I am a wildlife and botanical artist and illustrator working mostly in watercolour, gouache and pencils. My paintings are influenced by natural history illustrations and the magical work of Henri Rousseau and John Audubon. My art is usually very detailed with a focus on whimsical elements and vibrant colours. I get lots of ideas from visiting botanical gardens and can spend hours studying flowers, leaf shapes and tropical plants."
