Saint Joseph AOC White La Clef de sol, Domaine Jolivet 2023

Domaine Jolivet's Saint-Joseph Blanc 'Clef de Sol' is a classic Northern Rhône blend, with Marsanne and Roussanne co-planted on the same plot. Produced with careful agronomic attention, the grapes are harvested early and the wine is aged in a small percentage of new oak to avoid overly intense barrel aging. The nose is distinctly floral on the attack, with light vanilla notes and a pleasant, typically toasty finish with hints of almond. The palate is full-bodied, energetic yet balanced, with a finely chiseled texture.
