Grossot Chablis is a white wine produced by Jean-Pierre Grossot with the Chardonnay grape variety under the AOC Chablis (Burgundy).
Domaine Famille Grossot is a family winery with 18 hectares of vines, located mainly in the town of Fleys, east of the town of Chablis (Burgundy). Run by the third and fourth generations of oenologists ( Corinne and Jean Pierre Grossot and their daughter Eva ), the winery focuses on organic viticulture (Ecocert organic certification) to produce high-quality, internationally recognized Chablis wines . The Grossot Chablis
vineyards are located mainly in the municipalities of Fleys, Chichée and Fontenay. A total of 13 hectares of vines, averaging 25 years old, are mainly north- and northwest-facing and planted on marl and limestone soil. The winemakers practice organic farming with natural fertilizers and implement very limited phytosanitary measures. The harvest is carried out manually. After the grapes are gently pressed in a horizontal pneumatic press, the Grossot Chablis must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. It is then aged for a long time with its lees. Finally, the wine is clarified, filtered, and bottled. Grossot Chablis is an exceptional wine that preserves the rich fruitiness of the Chardonnay grape variety and the unique mineral quality of the Chablis terroir.
